Education - completed
Built on the site of Buckhaven High School - the new Levenmouth Academy merges the existing Buckhaven High School with Kirkland High School and Community College-both well established schools within the Methil area. The objective was to create one single site secondary school fit for the 21st century. The new facility embraces the ethos of these two different high schools and helps provide a new identity looking towards the future.
The projected school roll is up to 1800 pupils and the approximate floor area is 18000 sqm.
Claire Graves undertook the role of project architect for and on behalf of AHR Architects.
